Because of my wide-ranging background I offer a variety of talks and seminars drawing from history of photography and cultural representations of the dead. Some of my most popular talks are on the intersection of art and medical photography, The British Class System in Horror Cinema and Picturing Death in Our Digital Culture.
I’ve spoken about my work at the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh, ICA Salons, the Association of Art Historians, the 10th Annual Conference of Death and Dying, LCCT, Resonance FM, Sick City Talks, Sotheby’s Institute for Art, and The Women’s Institute. I have taught longer courses with The Brilliant Club and Birkbeck College, and participate in Enrichment and CPD days with the Princes Trust Institute.
If you’d like to arrange a speaking engagement, please get in touch through my contact page.
